Hey again!
Something happened this week that has me more excited than I've been in a long time.
I mentioned in a recent newsletter that I've been getting tired of "writing code for other people". I've been consciously aware of my distaste for contract dev work for a while (I want to reiterate that I love writing code for myself and my own businesses...more to come on that in later issues though).
Well I've decided it's time to stop complaining and do something about it.
I heard a quote from Steve Jobs (supposedly) that I've always sort of kept in the back of my mind. He said something like (and I'm paraphrasing here)...
"Once in a while I'll wake up with no excitement for what I have to do that day. When that happens too many days in a row I just change what I'm doing..."
I don't care to be like Steve Jobs. But I think there does come a point where you just need a change. To something more exciting. Lately, I've been really excited about video. So, this week I landed my first major contract as a "filmmaker" (doing post production for an online video course). And it feels like a breath of fresh air.
But, more on that later. I've written too much in this update already :)
So on to what's been inspiring me this week...

Flux makes amazing tutorial videos on design and Webflow. I love it when you get to learn something and be inspired at the same time.
